Juncker says Summit should agree 'in principle' on EU border control
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker expressed on Thursday his desire for Thursday’s EU Summit to reach an "agreement in principle" regarding the Commission's proposals for the European Border Guard and Coast Guard.

“I am of the opinion that it would be wise for the Summit to say "yes" in principle to the Commission’s proposals,” Juncker told as he arrived for the meeting in Brussels.

The head of the Commission also participated earlier in a meeting between Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and the EU leaders which want to move ahead with the volunteer relocation plan from Turkey, a proposal tables by the Commission.
