River in Epirus has frozen
The temperature in the mountainous region of Epirus fell to -7 degrees Celsius during the night. The river Voidomatis that flows through the traditional villages of Zagori and famous for its arch bridges freezed.
Although the snow has not yet made its appearence in the area, the hotel reservations in the picturesque villages and the other traditional destinations of Epirus, very popular for Christmas holidays, have reached 90 percent of the hotels and rooms capacity.
