Athens Stock Exchange opening: Small rise
Equity prices were rising on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.10 percent, standing at 623.72 points at 11.05 am and turnover at 17.85 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.26 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.48 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Technology (+1.68 percent), Raw Materials (+1.54 percent) and Industrial Products (+1.22 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Financial Services (-1.29 percent) and in Oil (-0.90 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 28 were up, 10 were down and 7 were unchanged.
