Greek stocks end slightly higher
Greek stocks remain largely unchanged in the Athens Stock Exchange on Friday, despite a mild selloff during the day as investors tried to consolidate the high profits of the two previous sessions, when stocks climbed a total of 6.70 pct.

The general index closed at 623.07 points, rising a marginal 0.13 pct, with the stocks of OPAP, OLP, HELEX and Folli Follie recording the highest gains.

On a weekly basis, the main composite index rose 7.7 pct; from the Start of December it has lost 1.85 pct while from the beginning of the year it has lost a whopping 24.58 pct.

The Large Cap index rose 0.54 pct and the Mid Cap index fell 0.54 pct. Turnover reached 311.743 million euros in a volume of 448,861,367. The blue chip stocks that made the strongest gains during the day were OPAP (4.86 pct), OLP (4.33 pct), Aegean Airlines (4.32 pct), HELEX (3.22 pct) and Folli Follie (2.65 pct).

Among market sectors, Travel (4.29 pct), Commerce (2.61 pct) and Financial Services (2.06 pct), scored the biggest percentage gains of the day, while Utilities (-3.14 pct), Real Estate (-2.58 pct) and Chemicals (-2.11 pct) suffered the biggest losses.

Broadly, decliners led advancers by 54 to 36 with another 18 issues remaining unchanged.
