Greek Day at New York Stock Exchange
Within the framework of the 17th Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum, New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) organised on Tuesday a special event entitled "Greece's Day at NYSE."

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Mardas rang the NYSE Closing Bell on December 15. He was accompanied by Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura.

The New York Stock Exchange celebrated “Greek Day” by hanging a Greek flag outside on its Wall Street building and gave special commemorative medals to honor the day.

The active involvement of the New York Stock Exchange, the largest stock market in the world, contributes to the enhancement and promotion of Greece in a wide investment community worldwide. It also shows the firm support to the Athens Stock Exchange, the Greek businesses, as well as the Greek Diaspora. The US Capital Market Commission is a major source of capital for an increasing number of Greek owned companies and the New York plays a key role in this.
