The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds widened significantly to 7.11 pct in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Friday, with the Greek bond yielding 7.80 pct and the German Bund yielding 0.69 pct. Turnover was a low 9.0 million euros, of which 8.0 million were sell orders and the remaining one million euros was one buy order.

In interbank markets, interest rates continued moving lower. The 12-month rate fell to 0.045 pct from 0.048 pct, the nine-month rate eased to -0.006 pct from -0.003 pct, the six-month rate fell to -0.045 pct from -0.040 pct, the three-month rate eased to -0.116 pct from -0.113 pct and the one-month rate was -0.161 pct.
