Meimarakis appoints Plakiotakis New Democracy vice-president
New Democracy (ND) leader Evangelos Meimarakis on Tuesday appointed the secretary of the parliamentary group of the party Ioannis Plakiotakis as vice president until he clarifies if he will remain or not at the party's helm .
According to sources, former ND leader Antonis Samaras is expected to formally dismiss a report in Ethnos newspaper according to which he has asked for an interim leader.
According to other sources, however, the report has already been dismissed.
