EU's Avramopoulos discusses Commission's security measures with Greek minister

Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google The security measures taken and implemented by the European Commission following the terrorist attacks in Paris were the focus of the talks between Alternate Minister for European Affairs Nikos Xydakis with the European Commissioner for Migration, Dimitris Avramopoulos in Brussels on Wednesday.
They also discussed the ongoing refugee and migration crisis with both officials agreeing that Turkey’s role in the management of flows is central. Citing Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ ongoing visit to Turkey, Avramopoulos and Xydakis note Greece’s role as a factor of stability, security and peace in the region.
