The economic sentiment index improved during the months of September and October, which reflects an initial normalization and stabilization of the Greek economy, if one compares it to the tumultuous month of July and the first half of August, economic analysts in Eurobank said on Friday.

Possible reasons for this small improvement are the signing of the agreement between the Greek government and its creditors (19 August 2015) for the new economic adjustment program, as well as the gradual adjustment - not without cost - of domestic households and businesses to the new conditions on transactions as a result of the restrictions on capital movements imposed on June 28), the analysts said.

An additional reason could also be found in the partial reduction of political uncertainty following the general elections in September.
