Athens Stock Exchange opening: Modest rise

Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google Equity prices were slightly rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.67 percent, standing at 672.27 points at 11.05 am and turnover at 1.55 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.18 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was also up 0.37 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Food (+2.69 percent), Banks (+2.37 percent) and Personal & Household (+1.66 percent).
The biggest losses were in Health (-0.80 percent), Telecoms (-0.25 percent) and Commerce (-0.12 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 30 were up, 11 were down and 8 were unchanged.
