Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.67 percent, standing at 659.74 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 3.12 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.97 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.13 percent.
All individual sector indices we moving upwards with the biggest gains in Banks (+2.75 percent), Financial Services (+1.64 percent) Travel and Recreation (+1.37) and Telecoms (+1.26 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 31 were up, 7 were down and 13 were unchanged.
