Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.41 percent, standing at 649.29 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 1.19 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.45 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.54 percent.
Individual sector indices we moving mostly upwards with the biggest gains in Construction (+1.54 percent), Raw Materials (+1.42 percent) and Personal and Household Goods (+1.41 percent).
The only losses were in Commerce (-1.45 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 21 were up, 10 were down and 12 were unchanged.
