President Pavlopoulos meets FM Molyviatis on migration
he migration issue dominated a meeting between President of Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis earlier on Tuesday.
Pavlopoulos reiterated the need for calling a summit on migration in order to deal with the issue, stressing that this is not a Greek problem, but a European one.
"It is a matter of security, but most of all it is a matter of humanism. Europe cannot ignore it," he stated adding that the 2008 European Pact on Immigration and Asylum, which outlines Europe's policy, needs to be activated and implemented.
