Greek GDP grew 1.6 pct in Q2, yr/yr
The statistics service, in its revised seasonally-adjusted figures, said that the GDP increased by 0.9 pct in volume terms in the second quarter compared to the first quarter.
Total final consumption expenditure recorded an increase of 2.2 pct in comparison with the second quarter of 2014. Gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) decreased by 3.3 pct in comparison with the relevant period last year. Exports decreased by 1.8 pct in comparison with the second quarter of 2014. Exports of goods decreased by 4.2 pct, while exports of services increased by 1.6 pct.

Total final consumption expenditure rose by 1.1 pct in comparison with the first quarter of 2015. Gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) decreased by 10.6 pct in comparison with the previous quarter. Exports increased by 0.1 pct compared to the first quarter. Exports of goods were reduced 2.3 pct while exports of services increased by 2.2 pct.
Imports decreased by 4.9 pct, imports of goods decreased by 4.7 pct and imports of services by 7.6 pct.
