Athens Stock Exchange opening: Decline
Equity prices were rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.61 percent, standing at 623.51 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 2.75 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.86 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.61 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Travel & Leisure (+2.04 percent), Banks (+0.72 percent) and Telecoms (+0.71 percent).
The biggest losses were in Food and Beverages (-0.96 percent), Raw Material (-1.11 percent) and Oil (-0.96 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 20 were up, 18 were down and 8 were unchanged.
