The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index closed at 182.19 points, registering gains of 11.69 pct.
Volume on the Large Cap index totaled 1,263 contracts with 6,851 open positions in the market.
Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 18,534 contracts with investment interest focusing on Piraeus Bank’s contracts (4,902), followed by Eurobank (4,824), Alpha Bank (2,886), National Bank’s contracts (3,032), PPC (653), OTE (339), Mytilineos (209), MIG (542), Hellenic Petroleum (145), OPAP (115), METKA (169) and Folli Follie (240).
