ND leader: There is still possibility a solution to be found
New Democracy (ND) leader Evangelos Meimarakis on Tuesday sternly attacked Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in an interview with SKAI TV.
He reiterated that there is still possibility to find a solution by Friday and stressed the importance of understanding that national consensus is a national target.
He noted that the prime minister has not explained why elections will be held and accused him of going to elections to change the 'rebels' of SYRIZA and replace Parliament President Zoi Konstantopoulou.
Asked whether he is afraid of the elections, he said that New Democracy will win the elections and underlined that the country needs to be governed and not go to elections every five months.
