KKE leader dismisses 'exploratory mandate' process as 'show'
Communist Party of Greece (KKE) General Secretary Dimitris Koutsoumbas was dismissive of the entire process of exploratory talks to form a new government in statements on Monday, calling it a "show...whose value is confined to the pre-election games of its participants".
He said the KKE will wage its election campaign by addressing the people suffering as a result of the policies of previous governments.
"All the other parties, which are responsible for the current situation, have their eyes fixed on the post-election landscape and the formation of a government for anti-popular management, that will keep the people trapped within the same impasses as now, in the framework of the capitalist way of growth and the EU," Koutsoumbas said.
On the day after the elections, the important thing was for the people to be in a better position to open a new road of hope, which could happen with a stronger KKE, he added.
