Athens Stock Exchange Big decline
Equity prices were dropping on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 3.07 percent, standing at 665.55 points at 12.20 am and turnover at 9.58 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 2.77 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 1.79 percent.
On individual sector indices, the only gains were in Travel (+0.87 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Health(-8.06 percent), Banks (-7.94 percent) and Financial Services (-4.98 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 14 were up, 47 were down and 5 were unchanged.
