Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google The stress tests for Greece's banks will be completed by October so that their recapitalisation can be completed by the end of 2015, according to decisions made on Friday by the Bank of Greece management and the mission chiefs sent by the four institutions representing Greece's creditors.
Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras had a first meeting with the mission chiefs on Friday afternoon.
Sources said that an effort is underway to carry out the recapitalisation along the same lines as in 2012, via the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund and not directly by the European Stability Mechanism.
In this context, it may be carried out in two tranches if capital is released in August as an advance on the third bailout.
