Wildfire reported in Astros, Kynouria

Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google A fire broke out on Monday in a remote and inaccessible forested region of Astros, Kynouria that posed no threat to nearby settlements, Greek authorities said.
A force of 16 fire-fighters and eight fire engines, along with an eight-person team on foot was sent to get the blaze under control.
They were initially assisted by water-bombing aircraft but these were withdrawn after the flames were contained sufficiently that the fire brigade was confident the fire could be put out by forces on the ground.
