Fire at recycling facility in Iraklio industrial zone on Crete
A fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at a sorting centre for recycled materials at the Iraklio industrial zone on the island of Crete.
The fire brigade has sent five fire engines and 12 fire men to put out the fire, which is sending up thick smoke that has covered the entire area.
According to the initial reports, the fire began in a container full of refuse in the outer perimeter of the plant.
