Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google Former Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis in an interview with PressProject website on Thursday explained the reason why he voted for the second package of prior actions.
"My aim is, despite the fundamental disagreement with our actions after the memorandum, the maintenance of SYRIZA's unity, the support of Alexis Tsipras and Euclid Tsakalotos," Varoufakis underlined.
However, he expressed the certainty that his vote will not help the government towards the common cause. And this is because the agreement of Euro Summit, which includes these two measures, is designed to fail, he noted.
He explained that he gave the 'Yes' vote to help the party gain time so that it can plan the new resistance to authoritarianism and the motivated deepening of the crisis.
