SYRIZA MP Chountis gives up seat in Greek parliament

Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google SYRIZA MP Nikos Chountis gave up his seat in parliament on Monday, according to a letter he sent to Parliament President Zoi Konstantopoulou and was read aloud during a plenum session.
Chountis is now expected to take over the MEP seat previously held by Manolis Glezos who has resigned. Chountis’ seat in the Greek parliament will be taken over by Giorgos Kyritsis.
