Building activity up 18.8 pct in Jan-April
The volume of private building activity fell 3.5 pct in April, slowing the growth rate in the first four months of the year to 18.8 pct, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Monday.
The statistics service, in a monthly report, said that the size of private building activity was 1,080 building permits, up 6.4 pct compared with the same month last year, but down 3.5 pct in volume. In the four-month period from January to April, building permits grew 8.1 pct, while the volume of building activity rose 18.8 pct, compared with the same period in 2014.
