ECB keeps ELA for Greek banks unchanged
The European Central Bank (ECB) has kept the emergency loans (ELA) provided to Greek banks unchanged on Wednesday, according to information.
The ECB's governing council also said it stands ready to reassess the situation when necessary. Today’s decision is expected to worsen the liquidity problem facing the banks, even after the imposition of capital controls.
