Greek import price index down 9.2 pct in April

Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google The Greek industrial import price composite index fell 9.2 pct in April this year compared with the same month in 2014, after an 1.1 pct decline recorded in the 2014-2013 period, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
The statistics service, in a report, attributed this development in the so-called imported inflation to a 0.5 pct decline in the import price index from Eurozone countries and a 15.8 pct decline in the import price index from countries outside Eurozone.
The index rose 1.4 pct in April from March, after a 0.1 pct decline recorded in the same period last year.
