Anarchist group enters German envoy's residence to protest in favour of refugees

Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google Members of the Greek anarchist group “Rubicon” entered the premises of the German ambassador’s residence on Wednesday evening to protest against the closure of EU borders to refugees, police said.
About 20 members of the group hanged a banner on the house fence which read “Solidarity to refugees – Open the borders”, signed by the group. Then some of them climbed the tall fence and entered the garden where they threw flyers with slogans in support of refugees. They also filmed the action and posted it online.
The group fled when they saw police arriving at the residence, but authorities say they have detained seven suspects in connection to the incident.
