Greece has done a lot of work but must move quickly on 'still open issues,' Dijsselbloem says
"I think a lot of work has been done - on the banks, on the policy side, on the prior actions - but there are still open issues and we need to make sure that these processes are brought together in the coming two weeks, because we need to take further steps, both in the programme, prior actions as well as on the banks," he said.
"So there is a lot of time pressure but also, on the optimistic side, a lot of work has been done and is being done," he added.
Dijsselbloem also emphasised the need to wrap things up quickly in order to complete the bank recapitalisation process, which he said was a key priority:
"Time is limited, we need to complete that first set of milestones, it needs to be done very quickly, and also some of the prior actions regarding for example the governance of the banks, the future governance of the banks. It needs to be sorted out quite quickly so it doesn't jeopardise the process of recapitalisation of the banks because that is our key priority."
