Προσθήκη του gazzetta.gr στην Google Issues of cooperation and coordination of FRONTEX and the Coast Guard operations in order to manage migration flows dominated a meeting of Alternate Shipping Minister Christos Zois and the Director of the Agency for the Management of Cooperation at the External Borders of Europe (FRONTEX) Fabrice Leggeri and his staff.
During the meeting, it was agreed to further intensify joint efforts to improve control and management of migration flows with priority given on protecting the safety of life at sea, as well as border security. On the Greek side, the need to strengthen both the resources and the means of the Coast Guard was stressed.
