Gov't spokesman comments on statements by former premiers regarding referendum
Government spokesman Gavrill Sakellaridis on Thursday commented on the decision taken by several former Greek prime ministers and politicians in favour of a 'yes' vote in Sunday's referendum.
"We are seeing a crowd of former prime ministers and political personnel rushing to defend a 'yes' to the creditors' proposal. It is their right," he said. "It is also the right of the people not to forget and decide about their dignity and interests undistracted by blackmail and unprecedented propaganda."
