Deputy FM Mardas mets U.S. State Department Undersecretary Novelli during visit to U.S.
Deputy Foreign Minister for International Economic Relations Dimitris Mardas and U.S. State Department Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Catherine Novelli discussed ways to boost bilateral economic cooperation between Greece and the United States, where Mardas was on a four-day visit to attend the 17 Capital Link Investor Forum for Greece.
Mardas and Novelli discussed ways to attract American investors to Greece, with emphasis in the fields of electrical engineering and software.
The deputy minister also met the U.S. Congress Hellenic Caucus co-chairs Gus Bilirakis and Carolyn Maloney.
Mardas had a series of meetings regarding the investment environment in Greece, where he outlined the government's new policies for attracting direct foreign investments and promoting exports.
