Frigoglass says sales up 26.5 pct in Q3
Nine-month sales grew 4.1 pct to 263.733 million euros.
EBITDA fell 2.2 pct to 20.261 million euros in the nine-month period from January to September, but totaled 209,000 euros in the third quarter from a loss of 1.612 million euros in the same quarter of 2014.
Adjusted net result from continued activities was a loss of 16.916 million euros in the third quarter, from a loss of 10.858 million in 2014, while in the January-September period losses grew to 20.959 million euros from a loss of 14.670 million euros last year.
Operating results showed a loss of 3.461 million euros in the third quarter and profits of 9.015 million euros in the nine-month period.
Nikos Mamoulis, chief executive of Frigoglass, commenting on the results said that the company's supremacy in innovation contributed to a strong increase in sales to Coca Cola bottlers for a third successive quarter. He added that Frigoglass was expected a continuation of adverse conditions in some of its basic markets and that the company was focusing on boost productivity and improving its cost structure.
