Clashes between Dynamo Zagreb and Red Star Belgrade fans break out at Athens International Airport
Clashes between Serb and Croatian football fans were reported earlier on Thursday at the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".
According to information, Serb fans of Red Star Belgrade attacked a group of Dynamo Zagreb fans that were going to depart for Croatia.
A number of fans of both football teams were injured and were sent to hospital while others were detained.
Police remains at the airport to safeguard the area.
Dynamo Zagreb fans arrived in Athens for the match of their team with Olympiacos Piraeus for the Champions League that was held on Wednesday night at Karaiskaki. The Greek team won with 2-1.
