Agreement between Greece and creditors is flexible, FinMin spokesman Jaeger says
The agreement between the Greek government and the creditors is rather flexible, the spokesman of the German Finance ministry Martin Jaeger said on Friday.
He added that there is no reason to deviate from the agreement due to the refugee crisis.
"The Greek government made a clear agreement with the European creditors in July. This agreement is rather flexible, we were very generous with Greece. And there is no reason whatsoever to deviate from that," Jaeger noted.
He underlined that Greece needs to meet the terms of the memorandum adding that no "discounts" will be made.
