More than 15,000 take part in 29th Tour of Athens charity run
Normal traffic circulation was restored to the centre of Athens after the conclusion of the 29th Tour of Athens charity run held in the city centre on Sunday morning.
More than 15,000 runners of all ages took part in the various race routes, starting and ending at the Kallimarmaro Panathenaic Stadium.
Each runner paid a one-euro participation fee and the money will be used for the purchase of an EEG for the Aghia Sophia Children's Hospital neurology department, to use in the treatment of epileptic children.
