Municipalities demand retroactive fees from El. Venizelos airport
The municipalities of Rafina - Pikermi, Markopoulo-Spata and Artemida appealed to the Council of State asking for the international airport Eleftherios Venizelos to pay retroactively from 2008 municipal fees and taxes.
They argue that the tax exemption provided essentially by the State to the El. Venizelos airport constitutes state aid of monopoly character that sets the company in a privileged position while distorting the competition rules.
