Partner of jailed guerilla group member to be released pending trial
The partner of the convicted member of guerrilla group Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire, Gerasimos Tsakalos, will be released from jail following a ruling of the Board of Appeals, it was announced on Friday.
Evi Statiri had been in pretrial custody for about seven months, charged with membership in the same group. She had started a hunger strike 18 days ago to protest the dismissal of several request for release.
