Democratic Left (DIMAR) loses 111 members opposed to cooperation with PASOK
In a joint statement opposing cooperation between PASOK and the Democratic Left (DIMAR) on Thursday, 111 DIMAR members announced that they were leaving DIMAR and expressed support for a SYRIZA victory in the elections.
They criticised the party's leadership for what they called "anti-democratic methods foreign to the renewalist Left and DIMAR" and adopted a position in favour of the third memorandum as a stabilising factor for politics and the economy in the country, urging voters to express their opposition to cooperation with PASOK.
