Pre-election televised debates to be held on September 10 and 14, ND sources say
SYRIZA spokeswoman Olga Gerovasili contacted the head of New Democracy's press office Penelope Gavra and proposed that pre-election TV debates be held on September 10 and September 14, ND sources said on Tuesday.
Gavra accepted the proposal and said that all other planned engagements for ND leader Vangelis Meimarakis will be cancelled on those two days, the sources said. They added that the first debate will probably include all the leaders of the main parties, while the second will be between SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras and Vangelis Meimarakis.
