Main opposition leader to visit Strasbourg on Sept. 8-9
New Democracy (ND) leader Vangelis Meimarakis will visit Strasbourg on September 8-9 to participate at the plenary session of the European Parliament.
Meimarakis is scheduled to meet with European Commission head Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Popular Party (EPP) Joseph Daul and the party’s Chairman Manfred Weber.
He will also address the EPP’S parliamentary group to brief them on economic issues, on problems in absorbing EU funds and on migration.
