Communist Party (KKE) leader for Popular Unity: ‘Sequels are worse than the original movie’
Communist Party leader Dimitris Koutsoumbas slammed the newly formed party Popular Unity noting that some of its members served as ministers in the outgoing government and their policies are full of contradictions, in an interview with Greek daily Real News published on Sunday.
“The Greek people must not become audiences in the same play. Besides, the sequels are worse than the original movies. All the so-called anti-memorandum fronts have always led to new memorandums,” Koutsoumbas was quoted as telling the paper.
“The specific MPs served this policy in government positions, preparing a new memorandum. The aforementioned ‘platform’ is a victim of their contradictions and dead-ends, which define their political line, their program, their strategy,” he added.
