ND leader Meimarakis is wasting Greece's crucial time
Government sources on Friday accused New Democracy (ND) leader Evangelos Meimarakis of trying to waste the time which is crucial for the future of the country and called on him to show seriousness.
"Until recently Mr Meimarakis was claiming that he is not afraid of the elections and that he is prepared. And now he is seeking to form a government from the current parliament," the sources said. "Moreover, he is making imaginative scenarios with the participation of SYRIZA deputies. He is even planning to meet with party leaders that he has called 'supporters of the drachma' and the Golden Dawn," they added.
"Ultimately, he is trying to waste the time that he has said that it is crucial for the country's future," according to the government sources.
