PM Tsipras discusses migration with UN Commissioner Guterres
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had a telephone conversation on Thursday with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres, during which he informed him about the government’s efforts to tackle the increased refugee flows into Europe through Greece.
Tsipras and Guterres agreed on further cooperation on the issue of migration, while the prime minister thanked the UN official for the efforts to make the issue of increased refugee flows widely known and address the humanitarian problems more effectively and immediately.
