Fire-fighters hope to have Afrati fire under control by day's end, after winds abate
The fire that broke out in Afrati, Halkida on Friday appears to be subsiding after wind speeds died down and gave fire fighting forces a change to partially contain the main front of the fire and stop its destructive course.
Fire-fighters said they hoped to have the fire fully under control by the end of the day.
