Parliament head Konstantopoulou calls meeting of presidents to decide on plenum session procedures
Parliament President Zoi Konstantopoulou called on Friday night a meeting of presidents to draft the introductory document which will be presented at the plenum, which will authorize the Greek negotiating team to sign a loan agreement with the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
The presidents’ meeting will decide on the procedure which will be followed in the plenum as well as the time when the session will start.
Earlier, the joint meeting of four parliamentary committees passed legislation authorizing the government to negotiate a new loan agreement with ESM.
