Eurogroup was not intended to take decisions but to prepare Summit, government sources say
Tuesday’s Eurogroup was not intended to take any decisions, but to prepare the Summit meeting, government sources said on Tuesday, noting that the Greek side has submitted proposals since last Tuesday, which remain on the table with some improvements.
The same sources also said these proposals contain reforms, funding, an investment programme and a debt restructuring. Greece’s proposals will be discussed today and on Wednesday so that a mutually beneficial agreement can be agreed upon, following the result of the referendum.
They said the deal must also restore liquidity in the Greek banking system.
