Outgoing FinMin Varoufakis hints that Euclid Tsakalotos may be his replacement
Outgoing Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, who announced his resignation earlier on Monday, has hinted that his replacement might be Euclid Tsakalotos, who has already been deeply involved in the negotiations between Greece and its creditors.
As he left the ministry, Varoufakis bid goodbye to reporters, adding "I'll see you tomorrow with Euclid."
Asked to confirm that his replacement will be Tsakalotos, Varoufakis replied: "I hope it's Euclid."
