NBG and Eurobank accept deposits as of Thursday

As of Thursday Greeks will be able to make deposits and payments in 289 branches of the National Bank of Greece (NBG), which operate during the bank holiday.

At the same time, they can deposit cash without an envelope in 677 ATMs, which will be immediately available as well as in another 130 ATMs with an envelope, in which the amount will be credited the next business day.

More specifically, NBG informs individuals and companies that during the period of short-term bank holiday until July 6, 2015, the National Bank accepts cash deposits.

As of Thursday, July 2, 2015, the network of 289 branches of National Bank operating during the bank holiday for the payment of pensions will also accept deposits and applications for new debit cards. Payments on deposit accounts abroad will also be made by special orders.

Eurobank also announced that the 174 branches operating for the payment of pensions will also accept deposits and payments on deposit accounts abroad as of Thursday.
