Negotiations between Greece and its lenders to continue, say gov't sources
Negotiations between Greece and its lenders do not end on Sunday when the referendum on the creditors’ proposals will be held, government sources said on Wednesday.

“The opposite is true, as the referendum forms part of the negotiations,” the sources said, adding that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras noted in his message that “the Greek government remains at the negotiating table and will remain until the end. It will also be there on Monday, right after the referendum, with better conditions for the Greek side.”

The same sources said “the same is also confirmed by European leaders and officials,” whose statements they cited, among which German Chancellor Angela Merkel who told German parliament today that “doors for talks with the Greek government remain open”.
